Do you like to Netflix & Chill? Here are some amazing gay films on Netflix right now

Sometimes when the winter is drawing in, it is nice to snuggle up on the sofa with someone warm and watch some great TV on Netflix (OK it doesn’t have to be Netflix!). Perhaps with a nice blanket to cover you in and a hot chocolate or little tot of whiskey to keep the chill out while you spend quality time investing in the telly!

Finding a Hookup Snuggle Buddy

Sometimes we don’t always have someone in our lives who we can feel comfortable doing this with so posting a personal on GayScene.org will find you a chill partner or more, in your location quickly. Post what you are looking for (and whether you want it to lead to something steamy) and see who replies. Gay Escorts are often your best option in these scenarios as they are there for your pleasure and can be romantic enough to cuddle on the sofa and then turn into a steaming lover when you are feeling in the mood.

When you have found your perfect snuggle partner, here are some of the best gay films on Netflix to watch:

Alex Strangelove (2018)

A well names main character – Alex Truelove – is a gay coming of age story based in the USA. From the right side of the tracks and with a girlfriend with whom he is planning to lose his virginity with, his life is suddenly thrown upside down when he makes a revelation. A handsome gay teen from the wrong side of town catches his eye and he falls hopelessly in love, and delves into his true self.

The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (1994)

Starring the very fine Hugo Weaving who plays a drag queen Anthony, along with his friend Adam and a trans woman called Bernadette travel across the Australian Desert in a lavender tour bus called Priscilla! If that doesn’t set the scene to this odd but amazing movie I don’t know what will. The trio travel and encounter both nice and nasty stuff, now known as a classic, this is one to watch.

I am Michael (2015)

This one is a biographical drama of a man called Michael Glatze (played by James Franco) who changed from a gay activist with a boyfriend (played by Zachary Quinto) to renouncing his homosexuality and becomes instead an anti-gay Christian minister. Leaving everything from his former life behind, including his family and once boyfriend.

Milk (2008)

The inspiring story of Harvey Milk, the first openly gay person to be elected to public office is the subject of this 2008 film starring Seann Penn. It is so good it received a slew of awards including eight Oscar nominations! Watch it!

The Birdcage (1996)

Classic movie with a star-studded cast list including the late Robin Williams, Gene Hackman and Calista Flockhart. The story centres around a drag club called The Birdcage and the family of the lead character Armand Goldman (played by Robin Williams) who’s son is getting married. This forces Goldman back into the closet to try and smooth things over with the bride to be’s ultra-conservative parents.
